Quality Value Price Had put in a Bulldog rs83b, but the range was about 20 paces from the car, and couldn't get the parking lights to work. I had to park right next to my front door, wouldn't even start the car in the street in front of my house, about 15 to 20 paces away. Frustrated, did some online research and bought this one. The range is awesome. Can start the car from inside the gym's locker room even though it's through a brick wall and about a block away. Also the parking lights work. I highly recommend it but beware the Viper web page says it won't warranty Viper's bought online and lists sights and caraudiogiants is one of them. Fortunately car audio giants warranties there stuff though because they offered to take back the Bulldog, so they would most likely warranty the Viper themselves. Bulldog has excellent customer service and tech support.Viper has NO tech support or customer service; neither of those exsist for the general public for Viper. Viper only supports it's registerd installers so your on your own if you have problems, and I called a local Viper installer with a question and he wouldn't talk to me. The choice is your's....

Quality Value Price I love it, its perfect and works 100% I had to get it installed professionally because it was pretty complicated and the installation costs about $300, so it is a lot, but well worth it

Quality Value Price If you just need a remote starter to warm up your old car in the winter morning here is the one for you, this unit only for remote start and keyless entry so very easy to install, all you need is find your car wiring diagrams on internet they will tell you all wiring color and those wires location, then download the installation manual for this model ( NOT THE MANUAL COME WITH THIS UNIT).

Quality Value Price This was an excellent purchase. DEI's consistency with quality and precision made this a snap to install and configure. My only recommendation is to get a buzzer to use for the horn honks while programming... it is MUCH quieter!

Great basic Remote Start Review by Patricia
Quality Value Price I purchased this Viper Remote Start for my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Had it professionally installed with no problems. I've had it since 12/12 and it works every time! Turns off after 12 mins to save fuel, unlocks and locks my doors and the anti-theft devise is a blessing. Several times I have forgotten to turn the key in the ignition and the engine stalls out as it's suppose to do so you don't have to worry about someone stealing your vehicle. I am very pleased with this remote start and the brand is excellent.
