If you want keyless entry, this is for you! Review by Johnson
Price Value Quality If you have a vehicle that didn't come with electric door locks, buy POWER DOOR LOCK KIT 4 DOOR
Sold by iPodCarParts for TOTAL $41.46 and this Viper keyless entry system for a TOTAL $43.97. Invest a little time and know how, (not for the beginner) and have an option that would of cost you over $1000 if it were factory installed like my Nissan versa. For some reason it came with an electric trunk that I wired into the aux part of the system... (Posted on 1/27/2016) -
Perfect auto upgrade. Review by Wilson
Value Quality Price Great upgrade to a vehicle that did not have keyless entry. Key fobs are perfect size, and good quality, range is awesome. Installation took some time, as some of the wires were in tough spots under the dash, but overall not too bad. Installed on an '03 Honda Civic perfectly with basic Lock/Unlock/Horn functionality.
Negative reviews complaining that the instructions are not detailed are not warranted. The instructions tell what all the wires are, you just need to know what and where the wires are on your vehicle, and that may require a little research. If you are not comfortable cutting & soldering wires, or taking apart your dashboard & steering column, pay someone to install. (Posted on 1/5/2016) -

Great purchase Review by Lewis
Quality Price Value Got it for my 1995 BMW M3. I was able to find help online to tie it into the factory connector. It works great, plus it auto locks the doors after the car starts, and auto unlocks when you stop. For $50, it beats the $200 factory plug in systems, (Posted on 11/13/2015)

Easy install and great price! Review by Ronald
Price Value Quality Installed this in a 2002 Honda Civic. You can find wiring diagrams for your vehicle online and you really just need to match up a few wires to get the doors to lock/unlock, parking lights to flash, and power. The remotes for this system are nice and small, and I like the bright blue flashing LED that this system has (I put that in the center dash). Also, my local car audio show had this alarm for over $80, so Amazon is definitely the place to buy it! (Posted on 10/6/2015)

Ignore 1 star reviews Review by Jennifer
Price Value Quality One star reviews of this product are unfounded. This is clearly a system which requires professional installation not "weekend wanna be's". The included information says that it's for professional installation. Giving it a one star review because someone can't install it has no bearing on the actual product and system.
That being said, I bought this at Best Buy and had the Geek Squad install it. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla. Hard to believe it didn't have one that came with it. The Geek Squad installed it without any problems -because they are professionals. It allows for one push of the button unlocks the drivers side door and two pushes unlocks all doors. That is a desirable feature since it's much safer. It has a bright blue LED light in the dash which illuminates the car and makes it look like it has an alarm. It has a good range and I'm quite satisfied. I never understand why people want to be 200 feet from their car to unlock it. That's not safe either. The fobs are nice and are the perfect size. This system does everything it says and it does it quite well. If your vehicle doesn't have keyless entry this is the best investment you can make. (Posted on 9/23/2015) -
Great product! Review by Kevin
Price Value Quality If you have any wiring experience, this self install is a breeze! Just remember the purple wires go to ground! Viper (directed) has always put out great products. FYI this is not an alarm, just keyless entry. (Posted on 9/20/2015)

Very pleased with product Review by Neal
Price Value Quality I was very pleased with the 211HV once I had it installed. The installation instruction were difficult to interpret and are written for the professional installer (I am not). Once the connections were figured out with the aid of the internet, the install was fairly quick and easy. I installed this on a 2001 Honda Civic. All of the connections to the cars wiring harness were done under the drivers side kick panel. Once I knew what wires went where, install took about 60 minutes. It has been in service for 6 months with no issues.
