Awesome sweet sounding highs Review by Williams
Quality Value Price I'm very impressed with these speakers! Awesome sweet sounding highs with none of that piercing harshness found in some other speakers. That metallic harsh hiss from some of my previous speakers was my biggest complaint. None of that here! Just sweet and smooth on the treble. At first I thought these would be fine with just HU power but I've decided to eat my words :( While they really get loud and remain clear with a 50-60hz HPF, a 14wrms per channel head unit just cant keep with the power requirements of these at full range. I would prefer to run full range with no added HPF but don't think I will be able to until I can get an external amp. These do seem to be a little too warm in the midrange but after tweaking with EQ they sound excellent so no complaints there. I would certainly buy again. (Posted on 12/20/2015)

Quality Value Price put this pair of speakers in the ft. doors of my 2003 chevy truck and couldn't believe the difference--i replaced the head unit about a month ago with a Alpine CDE-103BT unit and was pushing sound through the stock speakers and i thought it sounded pretty good but sometimes the speakers would act up and not play. so i figured what the hell--i needed new speakers so no money lost--did the sound ever come alive-- it is totally different--and i'm not talking about a little-- i plan to replace my rear dr speakers now with some more alpine soon-- the money was well spent-- i'm planning on adding a sub with a amp in the future--you just can't go wrong with alpine !!!! Quality Value Price I picked these up along with the component SPR-60C 6.5s for my convertible Mustang. I'm running them off of the JL NexD XD400. I'm not a huge audiophile, but I do love clean crips music with the top down at freeway speeds. This setup delivers what I was looking for.

Quality Value Price I recommended getting a amp for these speakers so they can get louder. Currently they get just as loud as my stock system but sounds crystal clear. Highly sensitive for rock songs. you here every string being plucked.

Quality Value Price "This pair replaced my factory bose rear speakers (08 GMC Sierra) with minimal customizing such as drilling a couple pilot holes and splicing the connectors. At the same time, I installed a pair of Alpine 60C's in the front.
Very satisfied with how easy Alpine made this do-it-yourself installation for me. Not all aftermarket speaker companies provide this high quality mounting plate. I was able to achieve the pure quality sound I was looking for with these speakers connected to an aftermarket JL 4 channel amp connected to the stock touch screen head unit. I tied into the low level signal wires that fed the bose amp. I kept the center console subwoofer connected to the bose amp and also added a higher powered sub and amp under the back seat."

Quality Value Price Excellent speakers. I put SPR 60C components up front and these guys in the back. Used an alpine 5 channel amp with 100 wattsx4 and these speakers scream. Complimented by an 8" sub everything sounds great. Would recommend dynamat on the outer and inner door to seal it up and increase your midbass.

Quality Value Price bought these for a friend to put in his pickup. these are amazing and make me wish i got them. they have a small magnet which is great as it doesnt protrude into your door as far. they sound amazing even when running off his stock head unit. the high pass filter is really small which made it great for mounting on his door panel out of the way as it can fit anywhere. when we finally amp them i will come back and do an update
