Quality Value Price I bought 4 of these for my 2005 f150. I searched for weeks to find a good speaker and I'm glad I picked these. These speaker have some pretty nice bass for a door speaker! I love these things I'm so glad I bought them and would do it all over again if I had to. I highly reccomend these to anyone in search of 6x8s. The sound is so clear on these! Quality Value Price Verified Purchase
I was a little skeptical going in because these were set to replace Infinity Kappa speakers, which were excellent speakers until the external crossovers went bad. These do not have that extra crossover box, and that makes things A LOT easier.
After installation, I turned on my system and was blown away with the sound quality. I was quite shocked that I really couldn't tell much difference between these and the Infinity Kappa's they replaced. (Posted on 9/20/2015) -

Quality Value Price Great sound at a great price. Some of the reviews are definately exagerating by saying They go louder than you can comfortably listen to them without distortion. Add a pair or two of the type R tweeters then that is a true statement.

Quality Value Price Fitted these to the front doors of a 2005 F150 SCAB - then decided to replace them (in a week) with Alpine components and move this to the rear doors. Sound so much better than the stock Ford speakers with no other changes at all.

Quality Value Price They crave an amplifier though, stock headunits do well but as soon as you hear it you will say "okay, now lets amp them". My wife loves the clarity over the factory paper though, that's really the bottom line. You'll have to use the headunits equalizer to turn the bass up some so it sounds good, otherwise they are top heavy.

Great match for '04 Ford Excursion! Review by Brian
Quality Value Price Installed these in my '04 Ford Excursion. Perfect fit with no modifications. I would recommend the wire adapters to plug them directly into your factory harness. The sounds is leaps and bounds over the factory speakers, and that's without an amp yet. With help from the tweeter the highs stay nice and clear and allow the woofer to do its thing. The low end, while improved greatly over factory, will still need help from a sub and amp for those looking for serious bass.

Quality Value Price I purchased 2 sets of these to replace the factory Shaker 500 door and rear deck speakers in my 08 Mustang GT. F300 Amp drive all four and the sound is clean, crisp highs, with 2 12" R Subs pounding Bass and the W927HD head unit my car is so hard to park. The fit was perfect and made a huge difference in sound quality over the factory replacements! Are they the BEST? For my application I feel I got the BEST and highly recommend them worth the money. I have had them turned all the way up and they play without any distortion.. My Music and Video collection is now mobile and I am getting similar sound in my car as my Bose system sounds in the house. You will not be disappointed.
