   I bought these for an '86 Grand Wagoneer and couldn't be happier with them. I'd rather listen to music in that old thing with these speakers than in my fiance's much-newer BMW. Amazing sound in a small package. (Posted on 10/4/2015)

   I wanted to avoid having custom door panels made for a component set, so an installer recommended these speakers. The primary benefit of component speakers is having a quality crossover network and having a real tweeter, not some squawker tossed in to add noise on the very top end.
   
   These speakers can produce some real bass, like you'd expect from an 8" speaker. The installer crossed them over at 60hz and when I have the subwoofer turned down, I can still hear some real bass coming from up front.
   
   They are very efficient and can get extremely loud. Earsplitting loud. Running 100Wrms to them and they take it in stride. (Posted on 9/22/2015)

   2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited w/ C3-525 components in front, C2-525 coax in soundbar, 8w3v in back. The C2s & C3s are powered by Vibe Deathbox Stereo 4, while sub is powered by Cadence XaH250.2. The C3s are wonderful. The highs are brilliant and fantastic and the mids are very precise. Believe it that these little things do produce some bass. Nothing crazy, but it is there, making the music full and beautiful. I definitely would power these with a nice amp though.
