Quality Value Price I had these 6x9's and Alpine 6 1/4" coaxial installed by a local car audio shop in my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with base audio system.
The improvement in sound was immediatly noticeable over the stock speakers. I was dissapointed by the lack of bass from the 6x9's though.
As time passed and the speakers got some hours on them I noticed the bass was getting better. I think it took about 3 months for them to completly break in.
I am now happy with the sound of these speakers. The bass is pretty tight and realistic and the mids and highs are very good.
I think these are a good choice for replacing cheap stock speakers (Posted on 9/20/2015) -

Should fit rear deck of 2007-2011 Camry Review by Baker
Quality Value Price The Alpines I own are the predecessor to these, the Alpine SPS-609. Although Cruttchfieldd states that absolutely no speaker made fits the rear deck of a 2007-2011 Camry, I'm posting to let you know that a local installer needed only a few minutes to put a pair of the SPS-609s in the rear deck of my 2011 Camry LE. This was a very cost effective upgrade to the factory stereo

Great for mids and highs to go with a sub or two Review by Parker
Quality Value Price I installed a Kenwood DNX1690HD DVD Nav system and a Boss 1250 watt amp to 2 Cerwin Vega subs. With that much bass, I wanted 6x9's that had great mid-tones and highs and didn't care too much about the bass. I wanted clear crisp sound from these and they didn't disappoint. These Alpine SPS-619's were better than the higher prices Type R Alpines for that. The type R's would be better for a 4 channel amp with at least 50-100 watts RMS per channel. With 25-50 watts per channel the 619's do a great job - loud, clear and distortion free...at any volume. I listen mostly to classic rock, metal, Zappa, Tool, Metallica type stuff. Let me tell you, these Alpine speakers are holding their own against 1250 watts to 2 Cerwin Vega 12's in the trunk and bumping some bass of their own too. Gotta turn off the subs in the neighborhood and it still sounds awesome. Can't beat these for the price.

Quality Value Price Another review on here that said these "sound like you have 12 inch subs in your car" actually inspired me to get a pair of these. I wouldn't say they sound like you have 12" subs in the car, but they DO put out solid bass which is even better b/c you don't need to spend time, money and car space (and battery power) for a sub. I have the SPS-610s in the front and these SPS-619s in the rear deck running off my stock integra cassette deck. I have the bass level all the way up, the treble halfway and at half max volume the sound is perfect. It is exactly what I was looking for. It sounds super clean and full with tight bass that has a good thump so you can be satisfied with full sound and volume without having to add a subwoofer which is exactly what I was looking for. I experience ZERO distortion with this setup even at high volumes which are really unnecessary b/c with the volume knob turned halfway to max, it is plenty loud, and even driving with the windows and sunroof open the sound is still great. Plus, both sets of speakers fit just fine under my stock grilles which is good since grilles don't come with either set. I got both sets new for an unbelievable price, but even if I paid full price I would be happy. These speakers are sheer quality and a crossover is built-in to the back each speaker on both sets the SPS-619 and SPS-610, and they both use big, strontium magnets. very happy. it sounds like a symphony in my car. 100% pleasure.

Quality Value Price Bought these speakers with a slight hesitancy. There so cheap, they can't sound that great. To my surprise what a great sounding speaker. You have to amp it. Don't know what it sounds like without but with the amp more sound than what I expected. If we're thinking about these, go for it!

Quality Value Price I ended up buying too big of a size for my rear speakers( bought the 6x9's instead of the 6x8's i needed) So i just manufactured a larger hole with a cut out wheel. Let me tell you it was well worth it!!! These two speakers alone shake my mirrors. And i drive a large crown vic. I also upgraded the fronts and am getting subs, so if you see a cop car drive by with the windows shaking like crazy its just me. Great buy!!

Quality Value Price I debated back and forth between these and the type-R speakers. In the end I got these ones because I wasn't planning to install and amplifier so why bother with the higher powered type-R's? Anyway, these things are a fantastic upgrade to your stock speakers. More punch and clarity across the entire EQ band. I turn them up to ear-splitting volume and hear no distortion.
Not for fit that the depth is 3 inches on the box. They were the same depth as my stock speakers but the issue I ran into was the diameter of the speaker magnets are so much larger than the stockers that I had to work to fit them in. (Posted on 10/5/2014) -

Quality Value Price The amazing sale price I bought these at, I couldn't be happier with the sound performance of these speakers. They pack a real punch. Running an Alpine Deck (CDE-145BT) and no sub or AMP, and sounds great! The bass is phenomenal on these speakers, and can hear the highs and mids more on these speakers now than my front stock factory speakers (which I am to replace soon). Highly recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade from their stock factory speakers! Shipping was also really quick from seller.
