   sealed box 1.25 cu ft... 1lb poly.... powered by jl audio 500/1....
   i also have jl audio 12w3... used this to compare....
   loudness are equal...
   jl audio bass notes sound more pure perfect...
   sound quality overall are pretty much equal...
   but the kenwood sub drops down much lower than the jl audio...

   I bought this sub because I have a ported box at about the recommended specs and it pounds! Great deal for $40, although the only downside is that the cut out for it is a pain in the ass, it's not like a normal 12". I have about 400 watts rms going to it, sometimes I'm worried I push it too hard but it's been rattling everything in my car for about 3 months now and the bass is still clean.
