Quality Value Price Absolutely stunning unit - I would only like to see the lcd icons change.
- After installing (30+ wires to tap or set up - if you don't have wiring/soldering/schematic reading skills, leave the install to the pro's..) I set it to voltage learn instead of tach for the remote start function (my tach wires were too far back to reach under the hood, and it works great. I have played with the alarm a bit, but currently have it disabled until I can get all the settings set properly. The range is spectacular for a remote - being on AM (higher range than the cheap one way FM units) allows me to start my vehicle from the middle of a large 10 story office building, and get to the parking garage down the street! Realistically with indoor and outdoor range, expect 1000+ feet when indoors.. Remote has functions galore, from telling you the voltage of your vehicle battery, to the inside temp (where the unit is mounted) to how much time your engine will keep running for - it's just a good solid product.
- The only downside if anything (not discounting this product at all for it) is that AutoPage has no info on how to purchase the C3 part (the cell enabled tracker, etc..) Their website is other than a good site to find instruction/install manuals, a bit of a joke. (Posted on 1/29/2016) -

Quality Value Price I thought I would install this myself, however there are quite a few wires to connect and you could mess up the car computer. So I had mine professionally installed along with the Idatalink bypass in my 2000 impala. It starts easily, unlocks the doors quickly and all from a very good range. I was testing it driving my wife's truck home and I started my car from about 500' and that was with a business and a couple houses between us and my car. Quality Value Price I have bought about four of these units and installed them in various models of vehicles and they all worked great. i have one in my tahoe for about 3 years now and have had no problems. will definitely buy again. also, easy to install as long as you understand basic wiring directions. Quality Value Price I just had this alarm/remote start combo installed in my car and it works great. Comes with 2 key fobs and the key fobs can be used to control 2 cars!
