HIGH Quality, Great Colors, Very Flexible!! Review by Mary
Price Value Quality Sexy Sexy flexible kit!
i had my subs installed by a shop 7 or so years ago, but recently the subs were cutting out but i couldn't figure out why. (i am a newb when it comes to car audio installation). after buying a new amp, and some trouble shooting i figured it wasn't my amp or capacitor. i figures i would just replace all the cables just in case (which i should have done in the first place).
this cable was better then what they used. they used stinger as well, same gauge, but it was the standard red cable. this one has additional protection to the sleeve section that sits in the engine bay which is nice (my installer used aftermarket sleeve that i was able to use on top of this as well). the fuse looks beefier. all the connections are strong (as in the wire to 0 ring solder points). the cable is soft and flexible, easy to run.
my only complaint would be the length. i have 2006 Acura TL. i thought i would have extra power cable for sure since my car isn't that big. but the power was just long enough to almost reach the back of the trunk (maybe 1 extra foot would have been nice). i wanted to reach back of trunk so its easy to work on my mounting board (so i dont have to disconnect the power cord just to work on it, or have to sit inside my trunk to get to it i want to be able to pull the mounting board alll the way back with all the cables reaching). when the board is mounted the extra cable would just be hidden behind it anyways.
same with ground. i found the issue with my car was that the installer used a single self taping screw that finally gave out and was hanging by a thread (causing my subs to go in and out). i decided to move it to a bolt that holds my rear eat in place. but this mounting location was further and i wanted the cable to reach the end of my trunk so its easier to work on (an extra 2 feet would have been nice for the ground). this cable only goes about halfway down my trunk from where its mounted. i may extend it with a stinger couple and some heat shrink tubing, still deciding.
i never used the remote cable, but i think i may extend my current remote cable with this one ( i only need an extra foot of it or so). 1) my current one is a bit short, 2) this one looks a lot nicer (dark blue vs my current baby blue cable)
all in all great product, but if you have full size / large sedan or SUV you will definitely need more cable. yes you could use a coupler for the power, but that's a whole other mess dealing with shielding (since the couplers i found are all metal and not shielded), i would probably rather just buy it off of a spindle if i had a longer car, only annoying part is having to solder on your own adapters (but youtube helps with that, or a audio shop would probably do it). Great quality, great price Review by Jason
Price Value Quality Pay $120 at the store or buy it here for $50. No brainer. Great kit. The heavy 4 gauge wire is very flexible. Makes installation 10x easier than the old lead pipe stuff. Engine-side connections are already crimped on and the wire is already surrounded with heat resistant shielding. Really no problems out of this kit. Stinger wire is always quality.

Price Value Quality Stinger/monster cables are top quality. No second guessing of the wire gauge can handle whatever you need for your system. Handles my JL Audio slash series 500/1 with ease supplying clean energy to my JL 8w7. would buy again.
