Value Quality Price I commute an hour to and from work 5 days a week, mostly on the interstate, so I decided I wanted to invest in my car (2005 Honda Accord) so I could enjoy my commute as much as possible. One thing I knew I wanted to do was add a sub to the factory stereo. At First I thought about going with a pre-made bass set up like the Infinity Basslink or a Bazooka. After some research I decided I would spend a bit more and get something I would really be happy with. Keep in mind this review is designed more for someone who has experience with doing an install of this type, your own results may vary.
After setting my budget, 400$, I decided I wanted to go either with dual 10s or a single 12. I decided I would be better off with the single 12 to help save on trunk space. Since this is a review is for the Sub I concentrate there as best I can. I was looking for 2 things; 1. A Dual Voice Coil (DVC) Sub that could run at 2 ohms 2. A Name that had a good reputation. Anyone who has done any car audio work knows you can tell a lot about a sub by its weight and the size of the magnet on the unit. Since you can't actually feel the weight when shopping online you have to go off of specs and look, in combination with reviews. Since this Sub had less reviews I was taking a bit of a chance there but I felt like it was warranted in this case.
I am running this sub with a Rockford Fosgate Prime R500 amp and the sub is in an Atrend E12Sv B Box Series 12-Inch Single Vented Subwoofer Enclosure. I get a very clean sound and a solid punch with no distortion at all. The amp has a lot of features that help the set up as well. Once I have a chance to spec out the amp I expect the sound to continue to improve, but even just straight into the car it sounds great. (Posted on 10/13/2015) -

Price Value Quality Let me start off by saying these speakers are BEAUTIFUL. The sound quality is outstanding! They are in a pretty giant box and they make the windows look like jello :) Sound quality is not comprimised by volume increase. I am very pleased with this purchase. I got the free shipping but they still came extremely fast, like under 4 days fast. The mounting hardware is good, however the bit that comes with it is a little shotty. Be careful with it! Price Value Quality "Totally the best thing since sliced bread. I put one of these in my 02 cavalier and it just BUMPS hard. I absolutely love it. I was surprised at the sheer weight of the thing because it weighs like 10 pounds. The lows just shake my mirrors and I couldn't be more satisfied. If you hesitate to buy this have no fear its worth every cent and then some. A++++ for this sub!!!

Price Value Quality "I have one of these subs in my corolla with only a 300w amp, and I can honestly say that I've never owned a sub this good. The bass can easily overpower my 4 Fosgate PPS4-8's and P1T-S tweeters running equal wattage. Overall, the system sounds crystal clear at volumes that I'm sure would damage my hearing. I reserve that volume range for when I see someone talking on their cell phone. It's comedy gold, I tell you.

Im pushing it with a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime amp at 2 ohms and boy does it hit hard and low! The build quality is simply amazing and unmatched by anything kicker ever put out and blows the competition away!

Price Value Quality This sub greatly surpassed my expectations! I was just looking for a cheaper sub that would replace a set of 8's I had that didn't play low enough for my liking. I put this sub in a 3 cu ft box tuned to 25hz and This thing digs! Keep in mind that this was a home audio project. It plays audibly down to 25hz and just pounds. Clean and thick bass. I'm not giving it the full 400w due to the over-sized enclosure. It's being powered by a JL 500/3 car audio amp that I re-purposed for my home stereo. These speakers really do fit into just about any audio system!

First Rockford Sub - It Rocks Hard Review by Mary
Price Value Quality This is a great sub at this price. I had it wired at 2 ohms but the amp couldn't take it so I wired it up at 4 ohms and it is still pumping out great quality. This rockford 12 sounds like there is two in the back. Very happy with this purchase and if you looking for a single sub to throw in the back then this is the one for you. Packs a big punch! Price Value Quality I've owned these speakers for about 4 years now and they are absolutely terrific. I am at the moment just running one P2D4-12 and use it cranked up all the time and I have never had a single problem with it. It has superb bass that is crystal clear. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Price Value Quality ive been a fosgate fan for years. i have two p2's in my trunk i ran a kenwood 9150D 1800 watt amp to it (900 Rms at 2 ohms) untill today i bought a kicker 11dx1000.1 amp certified at 1065 rms at 2 ohms because the kenwood amp kept cutting off and on. These subs are rugged i play them LOUD every day and the always bump. biggest advice i can give you on these subs is make sure you hook up the dual voice coils up right theres several different ways to pull different ohm loads. I orignaly had them installed from a buddy at work since i was in a work realise program in county jail at the time. he only hooked up one terminal on each sub. this made the sub work so hard it fried my amp. replaced the amp and one speaker started smokeing (horrible smell btw). So i decided to check all his wireing. thats when i found out what was

Price Value Quality This thing has tight clean bass. When I first installed it into my car i tweaked my 1000 watt hifonics gladiator amp for rap just to see what this bad boy was made of. I was definitely impressed that one 12 at that price had so much bang and still could have juiced more wattage. But honestly Im more of a Meshuggah type dude thats obsessed with that 8 string low end pounding my car, with that being said this Sub is an all around great speaker no matter what you listen to! At a VERY reasonable price and visible durability you cant go wrong buying this over a $200 sub. I went from sceptical to a happy customer.
