Awesome stereo, great variety of settings and powerful audio output. Review by Paul
Price Value Quality Pioneer makes great stereos. This particular stereo is used in my Honda Civic 2002, paired with JBL GTO speakers.
Not only does this stereo have plenty more settings than my cheap Boss stereo, but it performs like an amp is connected to it.
Installation was slightly a hassle, but it fits well and is sturdy. Included remote is a bonus, but just like the CD reader, I haven't used it once.
Even after months of use in hot/humid and cold weather:
-Screen is moderately bright, but cannot be seen in direct sunlight
-Speakers are loud and crisp, with much bass.
-All buttons and dials are tactile, just as it was out the box.
This stereo has many audio features, including a subwoofer output. This is a perfect starter or even professional stereo without the bells and whistles. (Posted on 1/4/2016) -

Exactly What I Wanted - Good Stuff Review by Lisa
Price Value Quality This is an awesome unit for the price! Exactly what I was looking for in my truck. It doesn't have all the top of the line features (Bluetooth, USB) but i wasn't looking to have that (I installed a complete system in my Jeep Wrangler a few years back - alpine head unit, 4 Polk Momos, custom built sub box with 2 10"s that down fire, 400 watt amp to the subs bridged of corse, 600 watt amp to the speakers). It does come with a remote control which is nice for back seat passengers or tailgates at a Georgia football game. Oh and the backlighting is red not pink like some of the pictures lead you to believe. So no worries there. I switched from an Alpine so the UI took some getting used to. The install was EASY and fit perfect. My dash is a front mount so I took the sleeve that came with the unit off and dropped it in to the existing harness, click click, screw screw and done. I also had to remove the faceplate trim which just snaps off and back on if you were wondering. The sound quality is excellent and is very powerful. The unit gives you tons of EQ and sound adjustment options which include fader, balance, treble, bass, HPF, SPF, EQ, Sub lvls, ect. If your looking to upgrade from a factory radio and you don't want to break the bank or go Too Fast Too Furious on your vehicle like I did on my Jeep then this is the unit for you. Great To Have A New Radio With An Auxiliary Port, And Much Better Radio Reception As Well Review by Lisa
Price Value Quality I bought this radio at Best Buy, and had it installed at a local music store. I am very satisfied with it. I had problems with distant AM station reception with an old radio that was in there before, because there was lots of engine interference whenever my car was turned on, thus was practically impossible to hear many of these stations while driving. It also did not have an auxiliary port, which is the main reason I bought this new radio: to be able to plug in an MP3 player directly into it without depending on an FM modulator. Not only is it great to have a radio with an auxiliary port, but it is also great to have much better radio station reception. One day, a friend and I were listening to a local AM radio station from a town where I live on the way over to a mall about twenty miles away from home, the station sounded just as clear there as it did back home. On the old radio, that same station would have weaker reception with lots more static when travelling some miles away. I bought the radio, already knowing that it does not have a USB port. I don't mind, since some of the audio I listen to is in Ogg Vorbis format, and that there would have been a possible limit to number of tracks on a playlist anyway. With an auxiliary port, I don't have to worry about the limit, although it would have been fun to see the artists and song titles show up on the radio. But I think an unlimited number of songs to listen to is the most important thing, though. I also have my MP3 players installed with Rockbox firmware, with one of them set to picking tracks randomly. My car that the new radio is installed into is a 2001 Chevy Prizm. (Posted on 10/22/2015)

Price Value Quality This looks nice and is fairly easy to install, if you are replacing an old stereo with this don't forget to get An adapter plug so you don't have to cut and join wires individually. Very good Stereo Review by Deborah
Price Value Quality When I ordered this, I was expecting it to be nice. I was not expecting to be as nice as it was when I pulled it out of the box. It came very well packaged with the original box with the stereo in it, but it also had Car Audio Giants's box with air bubbles surrounding it so it doesn't get damaged. When I opened it, it came with the manuals, the screws (for the installation kit), the remote for controlling the stereo, and the wiring harness needed for installation. This was a very simple installation, it took me a little bit (about 45 minutes) because this is my first time installing a stereo. This was just my stupidity, but there is no wire that you need to connect to make the remote work. I wasn't thinking when I was installing it. Overall this is a GREAT stereo for the price. I will even buy another one in the future for my other vehicle. (Posted on 9/2/2015)

Great no frills radio Review by JHON
Price Value Quality The only reason I replaced the factory radio was to have a line in port so I could listen to my ipod as I drive. This stereo is great for people like me. If you just casually listen to the radio and want to use the line in port now and again, this is a great option. There aren't a whole lot of other bells and whistles, but that saves me money in the end. I purchased (Posted on 8/18/2015)

Love it! Fits Corolla 2000 perfectly Review by Graham
Price Value Quality Output is good. The front panel display is clear and particularly I love the red glow.
I did a lot of research before buying this one as an upgrade from my factory 12 year old "cassette player".
I would strongly recommend using a harness (Metra 70-1761 in my case) to connect the car wiring to the stereo. Its a clean solution though may be a little more work. (Posted on 8/15/2015) -

Price Value Quality all the features you want in a CD/Radio at a great price. sound quality and function is great. programming is not always intuitive but it is handled by the instructions. Nice to have a remote for laying in the bed of my truck and changing the CD track or radio station.

Works great!, Review by Thomas
Price Value Quality It's not a state of the art deck, but I've had it for about 4 months now as a replacement for my stock '99 Protege deck and it sure works great. I just listen to rock music and it handles just fine. If you want to run a bunch of subs and speakers on an amp, you might want a more expensive unit, but this powers two 6x9 3-way Kickers just fine.

Rock On, Review by Barbara
Price Value Quality This pioneer DEH-150MP was a great purchase. I hooked it to a 12volt power supply and using it in the back yard, on our deck. I have it in a waterproof case and using outdoor speakers. It is replacing an old Pyle Marine stereo. Good sound and excellent reception. Loved the Old School "super tuner". Red lighting looks nice in the evening. For 20 -30 dollars more I could have gotten a Pioneer which allows you to choose lighting schemes. I chose to start with the 150 because of the reasonable price, scince I was trying it outside. Very, very pleased. I recommend this unit to everyone.

Great for the price, Review by Sandra
Price Value Quality The stereo was perfect for the money. I bought it cheaper here online, than I could in a store. (compared actual prices) It includes an option to customize the frequency of various parts of the song/music, via hz and it works really well. You can also tune the subwoofer output and boos the bass. Several options for a low price. I would definitely recommend this to someone who needs a new radio.

Excellent quality for the $, Review by Brian
Price Value Quality Pioneer has long been a favorite of mine, and this stereo lives up to it. On the lower end of the price scale, but on the higher end of the performance scale. Very adequate for filling my Ram Quad Cab with full, rich sound. Multiple settings cover everything from different equalizers for different music, to being able to create 2 custom equalizers. No need for higher priced MP3 compatible stereos. The CD player is just a plus, as I found a lot of MP3 compatible stereos don't have one.
