JL Audio 13TW5v2-2 Features:
- This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs, while allowing excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability. - To unleash even more performance from this technology, the v2 improves upon the original 13TW5 with 13% greater linear excursion capability. The cast alloy chassis has also been modified for greater strength and the redesigned motor now features an annular vent. The v2 is also available in single 2 ohm and single 4 ohm voice coil versions to fit a wide range of applications. - The mounting system is designed to fit in about the same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer. - The 13TW5v2 is best used with amplifier power in the 250W - 600W range and is optimized to operate in a 0.80 cu. ft. (22.7 l) sealed enclosure. - Never has such high-quality sub-bass been possible in the most challenging installation applications.

Quality Value Price This is a great shallow mount sub. I bought one and had a custom box made and put it in a single cab chevy facing downwards. It may not hit the lowest of the lows,but JL has done better than anyone else at making a shallow sub sound as if it is a deep mount. highly recommend this if your short on space (Posted on 9/14/2015)

Incredible Sub for the size Review by Taylor
Quality Value Price I bought this sub after about a month of research to find something that would sound great but would still be inconspicuous in my 11 silverado crew cab. Jl as most car audio enthusiasts know is tpp of the line. So I went ahead amd dropped the cash for it and I love it. The sound quality is amazing and the box is tiny considering how loud this thing is. If you're looking for a good sub without taking up very much space I highly recommend this one.
