What a Monster Review by Phillips
Price Value Quality I bought this amp to run two 10" W7's. This amp really does the job running them. It doesn't seem to ever run out of power. It is the most massive amp I have ever seen. I mounted this amp on the back of the sub enclosure with the fins facing up. All I can say is that I was glad I had pre drilled the holes before putting the enclosure in the car. It would have been almost impossible to hold the amp in place and mark the holes in the trunk. I will most likely buy a JL Audio 4 channel amp now to run the mid's and high's because I can't use everything this amp has and still have a full range quality sound but that is a story for another day. The bottom line is that if you are looking to power a couple subs or maybe a 13.5" W7, this is the amp for you. You won't be disappointed!!! (Posted on 2/11/2015)

Price Value Quality i agree with all other reviews. this amp is simply the best. i used to be one of those people who used cheapo depo amps just to power my subs and get off cheap. the result was very little power and not enough endurance. amps would get hot and go out. not this one. it is powering two kicker comp 12 subs and i have another jl 400 watt for my mids and highs. with these two and a few more additions in the works i cant go wrong and you wont either with any jl audio product. definitely worth the high cost. you pay for what you get and you get it all with this thing

Price Value Quality Unstoppable, untoppable and most probable to succeed!...That's what JL Audio Slash Series amps are. I have never had one fail me yet. They take a multitude of impedance variations without a hitch. They pound out the wattage like they owe someone money. They look great, they're well respected, thay even have their own fan club of loyal fans....They have never sold out to the cheap crowd and they always perform when needed. What more could you ask for....oh, and did I tell you that they tend to be under-rated by 25-30% at a minimum when it comes to their advertised power....oh and oh so clean is the output. Purity in it's best form...if you want some then get some...JL Audio Amps - Slash Series. I currently own (2) 1000/1 v2's and (2) 450/4 v2's as well. They power my (2) JL 13W7's and my (2) sets of Focal 165K2P component sets...with my Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT multimedia/nav head unit. nuff said!

Price Value Quality "I am surprised their are no reviews for this AMP yet. I have had this amp for a month now, and it only seems to get better. Lessons learned!!!
-Remember this amp is not a toy. It consumes a lot of power. If you have a small car, do get a H/O Alternator, or at least a capacitor.
-Use the right wire kit also. I used the kits from my previouse DHD amp, and blew fuses like crazy. 0 Guage wire is best, and 300ma fuse.
-this amp protects itself. If it gets to hot, is wired wrong, or if it is sucking to much juice from your car it will let you know.
I hooked mines up to a JL W7 and wow!!! The morer I listen the better it gets. It's like the speaker and amp start to form a bond with one another. At first the bass was massive and harsh, but now it has smoothed out and very pleasant. In my opinion you get more than what you pay for with this combo. The only thing that could have made this amp better to me is if the remote one came with the amp, and if the remote had the power and alarm lights on it."

Price Value Quality I didn't buy this from Caraudiogiants but I just bought one used from craigslist and holy **** this thing POUNDS. I've got it hooked up to a 12w7 in a sealed box and i cant begin to explain how hard this amp hits. I have the gain knob on the amp turned ALL THE WAY DOWN, and the bass at -3 (ranges from -5 to 5) on my head unit EQ, and it is almost too loud for my 2005 altima!!! Don't listen to these other guys, you won't need a cap, battery, or alternator (if all you're running is a one sub and one amp like me). This is worth the money, the metal it is made from is durable, and the design is rugged and stylish.

Price Value Quality I got one of these about a year ago, I play it daily an I've probrably been thru 10 sets of subs this amp doesn't play make sure your subs are at least 900 rms. Or they won't last. U will def. Need a cap or battery!!!!!!!! This amp requires a lot of juice but will rock all day an you'll never hav to worry.
