Quality Value Price Wow!. I ordered this sub to put in my acura with the stock head unit and the stock amplifier and speakers. I built the bass reflex enclosure up to Rockford Fosgates paremters. I also chose the Rockford Fosgate R500-1d to power it......HOLY CRAP! this thing makes the cieling of my car flex! This sub is perfect, i mean it hits like a 15, but dosent need 1500 watts of power to add a big punch to your stereo. The sound quality is unsurpassed. I listen to Weezer and turn the bass down on the head unit, to get a nice punchy tight bass. I am literally able to hear every beat of the bass drum and every note played by the bassist, its very clean and accurate. The bass reproduction on hip hop songs is also impressive. As i said earlier this subwoofer makes my whole car shake, door, trunk, everything. With the port tuned to around 38 hz maybe 40, this thing hits super low, i mean really low, and really loud at the same time. I was really surprised that it would repro

Quality Value Price I have had this sub for about 1 month now. I built a custom ported enclosure that is 2.25 cubic feet tuned to 34 hz. This single 12" P3 POUNDS. I have it wired to 1-ohm on a Rockford Fosgate POWER T500-1bCP and it is SO loud. The birthsheet says 729 watts at 1- ohm and this sub just gobbles it up. It is the cleanest sounding subwoofer I have ever owned. It can get as loud as I want it to. For a single twelve it is perfect. Hits the LOWS GREAT. Now that it has broken in, it sounds even better than when I first hooked it up. In my custom built box it sounds awesome and shakes everything in my truck. Overall I am truly satisfied and would recommend to anyone. ( I couldn't even imagine how loud the T0-T2 subwoofers sound because this PUNCH P3 is Ridiculous loud)

Quality Value Price I brought these subs for my son. And the prime 1200 watt amp. These speakers sound so good it's just ridiculous! If your looking for a set of subs for a great price these are it. I was so floored by the sound I'm going to get the 10 inch subs and put them in my truck. Money well spent!!!!!!!!!!

Quality Value Price I just got this today in the mail and it sounds great! I am pushing this with a Rockford Prime 529 watt class A/B mono-block inside of a 1.11 cubic foot sealed box. It puts out a lot more than I expected an awesome upgrade from my 16 year old Xtant 12!

Quality Value Price My Rockford Fosgate p3 dvc4 12 came in the mail today. I have it in a Ford F 150 King Cab. Running off of a Rockford Fosgate bd500.. This thing is incredibly loud. The bass travels a long ways and sounds incredibly clean. You would never guess that much sound could possibly come from just one 12 inch woofer. I am super impressed and hopefully my amp will not blow this subwoofer. The amp is from 1994 back when Rockford Fosgate was as good as you could get. This amp has blown 48 subwoofers in the last 10 years. I have not seen many subwoofers that it can't destroy. So far this thing sounds amazing and looks promising. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Quality Value Price Love these subs. I had 4 of them in my avalanche and just purchased one more to replace one I damaged in my new tahoe. 4 p3 4ohm 12" subs work excellent with 2 rockford p1000 amps when run in a series in a common enclosure ported box. It HAMMERS. Recommend rockford components with rockford 400watt 4 channel amp. They scream!

Quality Value Price If you have been eye'n this speaker for a while, stop thinking about it and just buy it. You won't find anything better for the price. Just make sure you buy a decent amp to power it. I made the mistake of buying a cheap amp. I was disappointed with the performance, until I upgraded my amp, and BOOOM! Huge difference. Completely worth it, and I honestly think this speaker is priced well for the performance.

Quality Value Price Rockford Fosgate makes some GREAT equipment at extremely affordable prices. This subwoofer is no exception. I have this hooked up to a Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1 500-Watt Mono Amplifier and it's like the perfect combo. The sub is housed in a ported enclosure at around 1.63 cubic feet (1.79 is what they recommend)and tuned to around 39Hz. It's a dual 4-ohm sub, so each voice coil can be wired to each other in parallel creating a 2-ohm load to present to the amp.

Quality Value Price "Anyone who is honest will admit that RF has had a rough couple years around the turn of the century, they started making stuff in china and the quality tanked. I was in the high end car audio industry at the time, and the shop I was working at actually discontinued carrying RF as a result of poor quality control and poor performance and longevity. Well, fast forward about 10 years to (2013) and the same thing has happened to some of my favorite brands (incl kicker):, causing me to revisit RF and the famed "" punch P3""
I have 2 of these powered by a massive alpine Mrx-m240 at half power (1500wrms) and let me tell you, RF is back! The sound and output is awesome, controlled and all over massive (considering the price bracket of these, you can always find something better but it's at a much higher price) but that isn't what most impressed me about these speakers, I was amazed at the quality of construction these speaks have. Rubber surrounds, quality aluminum cones, stitched spider leads... This has the look and feel of speakers much more expensive than this..."
