I love Audio Control products Review by Lewis
Price Value Quality And this one does not disappoint. One of the best features is the GTO remote. I use this feature to turn on the amp the LC2i is feeding. This saved me from having to tie the remote in of both devices (LC2i and the amp)to the accessory power which can cause popping when the amp turns on. Oh and while I didn't need to use the AccuBass feature it does seem really cool and would be a must for factory systems with low end rolloff.
Oh and for complete disclosure.... I used this to add an amp and subwoofer to a factory stereo/nav unit in a 2013 Honda Accord. I tapped the existing subwoofer speaker wire for the inputs and left the factory subwoofer disconnected (Posted on 1/29/2016) -
THE best company in the US Review by Wilson
Quality Price Value Audio Control sets the bar for quality, effective car audio signal processing. I wanted to use my factory touchscreen (Hyundai Veloster "Dimension Sound") yet upgrade EVERYTHING else. Amp, equalizer, battery and speakers. This simple LC2i allowed me to take my factory amp full range 2 channel output and supply a quality low output to my aftermarket equalizer, then separated signals to my aftermarket 5 channel amplifier. The LC2i also furnishes a turn on signal to the downstream components. There is a product for every need at Audio Control, and they "Make Good Sound Better". I am impressed with the way they do business, and they approach everything with a touch of humor. Top notch. (Posted on 1/25/2016)

WOW! what a difference Review by Martinez
Quality Price Value i don't write many reviews but after installing the lc2i i had to. I already had a passive line converter creating the signal to send to my amp/sub but was told to check out the lc2. i was a little hesitant at first but now that i've installed it have no regrets. what a difference it makes. the signal provided seems much cleaner/more complete and distortion free. not to mention the relief that my amplifier has gained since installed. with my passive line out converter everything worked but the gain on the amplifier was nearly at 80%, now with the lc2 i have it at 30% and it plays louder than than the previous LCO! if you're deciding between the lc2i vs any other LOC do yourself a favor and spend the little extra on this. you won't regret it (Posted on 1/18/2016)

adding amp to a stock stereo with hi outputs only, this is a must Review by Williams
Value Quality Price This little thing makes life easy....keeping your original head unit using the hi outputs as my stock stereo didn't come with rcas. I didn't want a new stereo nor did I want to buy all the additional crap to keep On-Star, Chimes, Steering wheel controls, and Blue tooth. It is easy to hook up and integrate your equipment with. I added a 4 channel amp and a sub amp with ease....note use good quality wiring and rcas with this as it will help with noise reduction.I have it in a 2012 Silverado and I mounted it in the center console for on the fly adjustments...just in case... I haven't needed to adjust it from the original install adjustment. I have seen other brands made of plastic...this thing has a metal case and is pretty sturdy. All the connections are labeled making it pretty much Idiot proof and plug and play. (Posted on 1/5/2016)

Remote feature works great Review by James
Price Value Quality The remote feature is triggered when you turn on the head unit. The speaker wires trigger on the LC2i which then sends a remote out signal to my amp. The bass response is much improved. Great product. (Posted on 1/4/2016)

Improve Your Car Audio and Keep the Head Unit Review by Thomas
Price Value Quality The sound of the audio in my new truck was not great but the head unit had many features (e.g. voice recognition, nav, etc) that I wanted to keep. The LC2i allows you to hook up an amp and subwoofer by splicing into your speaker wires. It provides full bass response with your factory installed audio system. I highly recommend this device. Price Value Quality This little loc is a beast I had a cheapo loc I had purchased a while back thinking it would do the job but I was wrong!! After I installed this I turned up the volume and heard the difference immediately! This is well worth the price of you want to keep your factory stereo in place with out having to replace it!! Works better than I expected! Review by Sharon
Value Quality Price I installed this unit in my car with two 12" speakers and a 1600 watt amplifier. The bass is much better than I was expecting, and I'm really impressed with the sound! However, it doesn't work miracles so if you're a real audio enthusiast I would recommend getting a quality head-unit instead. But if you want killer bass on a budget, this is a great product! Magic Box! Review by Michelle
Price Value Quality To all the folks who say buy the cheapest line output converter I say fooyee...
I bought myself an AudioControl LC2i as seen in the link below. This thing brought my sub to life!
Before I had a cheap LOC and my sub made strange noises and sounded like crap... now, it could have been a bad LOC, but this thing is awesome! I am not a sales person, nor am I affiliated with Amazon... just someone who tried a product and wanted to share how awesome my experience has been! (Posted on 10/4/2015) -
this thing is awesome Review by Margaret
Price Value Quality I have this installed on a factory system with no line outputs. The factory stereo does not push the sub amp well. I hooked this up to the rear channels and plugged it into my sub amp. with the built in bass restoration / signal recondition processor, the amp is being pushed, the bass is much deeper, and cleaner. I think this is the way to go with a factory system upgrade with no line outputs on the deck. (Posted on 9/22/2015)

Does exactly what it should! Perfect for OEM Sub installs Review by Ruth
Price Value Quality Used a cheaper line converter when connecting subs to my oem 2014 Mercedes sound system and the bass was literally missing in some songs! Swapping to this completely solved the problem and restoring the missing bass frequency's. I would seriously recommend this to any one installing subs on a oem sound system!
I can conform it works on the 2014 Mercedes Comand Online systems.
Works great with a JL amp and 2x12inch subs. (Posted on 9/12/2015) -
Awesome! Review by Giovanni
Price Value Quality Previously I had owned a cheaper line output converter, Wal-Mart brand, and it wasn't quite cutting it.
After a quick and easy install of the LC2i I noticed a huge difference, not only in quality of sound, but in overall performance with my system. It increased the power of the system by at least double, maybe because of the higher quality input or magic? Either way it is excellent, and the ability to control the factory bass cut out is quite nice as well.
The construction and quality of the unit itself is very sound. You even receive a small pamphlet from the manufacturer about the hand made in America quality of the device, complete with signatures from the people who made and quality checked it.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone who has a stock system looking to add some thump. It may be pricey compared to a cheaper solution, such as the Wal-Mart brand converter, but I would say it is worth the extra bit of money! 5/5 (Posted on 9/3/2015) -
Awesome Product Review by Anderson
Price Value Quality I wanted that extra ump in my sound system without having to upgrade everything stereo wise. Using my factory premium system and adding the LC2i did the trick. This little guy allowed me to add a amplifier and woofers to the factory system. Now I have my factory look, but with that booming sound that's just as clear sounding as any of those high dollar systems. Save yourself the BIG bucks, get this guy and rock your neighbors. You will be amazed with the sound and clarity. This little guy helps boost your sound without sacrificing $$$. Don't beleive me try it yourself. If you have any electronic installation experience, you can have this down in a couple of hours. Highly recommend as an alternative to switching out your sound system.
